Natalie Rymer is a British contemporary artist who studied Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art. Based in East Sussex, she divides her time between the English countryside and Chianni, Tuscany, where she and her husband care for their own olive grove. Working in acrylics, oils and watercolour throughout her career, Natalie now paints predominantly in oils. Her work encompasses landscapes, figurative subjects, interiors and still life, exploring the beauty of everyday moments, solitude and our emotional connection to the world around us. Her paintings have been exhibited in the UK and Italy, represented by galleries and acquired by many private collectors. The past year has marked a significant evolution in her practice, with increasingly expressive brushwork, intuitive mark-making and greater freedom of interpretation. Inspired by nature, personal experiences and the passage of time, Natalie creates paintings that invite us to pause, observe and appreciate moments we might otherwise overlook.
